Ford Ka

Ford's new Ka is due to arrive in the UK in 2008, and early indications are that it will be a popular new release.
At its initial launch, the Ka virtually had a new market segment to itself, but over the years most major manufactuers have introduced new little Cool Cars that have stolen the Ka's thunder. To the point where the Ka is far from being the automatic choice for anyone looking for a new car of this type.
Ford's latest Ka replacement retains the basic funky shape of the original, but looks quite a bit sharper, and that should help it to regain some of the lost ground.
The new model is expected to feature 1.4 and 1.6 litre petrol engines, and also a 1.4 litre TDCi. Prices are expected to start a little higher than the current base model's £7000 price tag.
