Renault Clio Renaultsport 197
|
The hotter hatch version of Renault's new Clio is now available and not surpisingly it's called the 197 because that's the number of horses available from its 2.0 engine.
Renaultsport Clios have always been highly respected by serious hot-hatch enthusiasts and the new 197 should be no exception to that. There's no doubt the chassis is a solid performer, and it looks great with the Renaultsport kit, and big alloy wheels on it. | | 0-60 for the new Clio is expected to be a shade under 7 seconds, and the combined fuel consumption will 31.7 mpg. Emissions have been rated at 209g/km which translates to a tax rate of 28% of the car's value for company drivers, so it might be good enough to tempt a few more drivers out of their larger cars.
