Vauxhall Monaro may be back

| We'd only just got used the sad loss of the Monaro from the Vauxhall range after it had been with us for such a short period of time. Then just after it's left, we hear it could be back again in a new, improved form. | |
| There are rumours that Vauxhall will build on the relationship with their fellow GM company in Australia buy bringing in a large rear wheel drive Holden at the prestige end of their line up. Given the brief success of the Monaro on these shores, we feel that would be a great idea. But we're hoping it will look more like the Monaro, and less like a large Vectra than some pictures we have seen might suggest. | | | If it does arrive, we can expect it to feature the Holden power plants which produce over 260 bhp in 3.6 litre V6 guise, and over 360 in 6.0 litre V8 form. Will Vauxhall do it? We hope so. | |
